Summer clothes or Winter clothes? I find most people are one or the other.
I’m VERY much a Summer girl all the way! I love the colours, the prints, the lightness of the fabrics.
Winter, I sometimes struggle with. So many styles can add so much bulk to my curvy frame and I just end up feeling like the michelin man. And I know I’m not alone!
So when Farmers asked me to take a look at some of the knits in their Autumn/Winter collections, I thought it would be the perfect way to find some knits that DON’T add bulk, and man did I find some good ones (if I may say so myself!)
One of the things I love about shopping at Farmers (and taking my styling clients to) is the choice! There are so many great brands to choose from, and when it comes to Winter knitwear, that’s no different.
I’ve got five great pieces, from 5 different Farmers labels to show you (and MAN was it hard to edit this down to just 5!). PLUS I’ve also got a $100 Farmers voucher to give away to one lucky reader….. Read on to find out how to win.
1. Mineral wrap front merino dress $149.95
It’s a dress. Made from merino. That is all.
But really, how nice is it to find a gorgeous dress like this that will not only look amazing, but keep you really warm in Winter!
The fine knit of the merino means no bulk, and the wrap tie at the front creates a gorgeous flattering shape around your waist without drawing attention or being clingy across the tummy. This dress will definitely be a staple in my Winter wardrobe!
2. Oliver Black Rust Knit Top $79.99
This knit top from workwear label Oliver Black is perfect for work, but I think it is great for play too! Again, the waist tie (this seems to be a theme right?) draws your waist in, with added bonus tummy coverage, and because the knit fabric is quite thick, it means the top can be relatively fitted and not show any lumps and bumps.
Yet again, another great knit top that isn’t adding too much bulk to my curves! Team it with black, or navy for winter, over a skirt like I’ve styled it, or over some sleek black pants for the office.
3. Whistle Navy Knit Dress $79.99
Yay! Another great winter dress! I love the navy, such a great change from black. The swing style is flattering on all shapes and sizes, and once again, the fabric is warm, yet fine, so no added bulk.
Team the navy back with grey, or tan (or both), something other than black, for a fresh look this Winter.
4. Whistle purple knit with silver spots $79.99 (instore only)
Who said knits have to be dark! How pretty is this purple and silver combo? Another lightweight cotton-blend knit that will be great for layering.
Because the knit is quite fine, it can also be tucked into skirts or pants, helping define your waist and add some shape – goodbye bulk!
5. North/South Merino Jogger Pants $99.99
The only thing better than a merino dress? Merino jogger pants!
These babies are great if you really feel the cold, you can wear them for almost any occasion. Pair them with heels and a bomber jacket for work (like the one I”m wearing from I AM by Andrea Moore), or dress them down with trainers and a denim jacket on the weekend.
So there you have it! Five fabulous pieces of knitwear or merino from Farmers that won’t add bulk to your frame, in fact, I think they will have you looking decidedly stylish this Winter!
WANT TO WIN $100 FARMERS GIFT VOUCHER?

I went to Farmers last week & tried number 3. Whistle Navy Knit Dress thinking I was setting myself up for disappointment as I find it really hard finding something that suits me (especially dresses!) BUT I actually really loved it & bought it. I wore it with tights & mid length brown boots & received a few complements. So glad I found your blog, I’m finding it really handy! 🙂
I LOVE that you loved it Laura! 🙂
isn;t it sad how we automatically assume things WON’T work on us! Just remember though, when things don’t fit you, its got nothing to do with your gorgeous body, it just means that particular garment isn’t made for your particular shape, and thats ok too 🙂
Oh how lovely! I’d go the purple knit with spots~ love being colourful and warm in the wintertime X
Oh my gosh how did I not know you could get merino pants?! How exciting!! I will definitely be popping into Farmers to get the North/South Merino Jogger Pants! I am a real wuss when it comes to Winter so I usually live in Merino tops during the cooler months. Now I will be able to dress top to toe in Merino and be happy as a lamb 🙂
Perfect for winter right? It seems so obvious once you see them, but such a great idea!
I love the Whistle Navy Swing Dress 🙂
I have fallen in love with the North/South merino joggers – who knew joggers could be so stylish! From home to town with no quick change needed. WANT! Maybe even NEED
I really like the Whistle Purple Knit Top with Silver Spots. It is Fine and not bulky.
I’d love the mineral wrap merino dress. So great for work or causal.
Great blog thanks.
Absolutely love the mineral wrap dress Cait. Simply gorgeous!! Anything similar available in Australia?
Hey Lorraine, I’m really sorry, I’m not sure where to find something similar. I would maybe look in Myer? Piper always have some nice knits? Also try Sussan?
Thanks Cait, I will have a look around at your suggested stores & see what I can find. I’ve been following your blog for a while now & LOVE it. 😍 Thank you!
oh yay 🙂 glad you love it!
let me know how you go x
The mineral wrap merino dress is my choice – I love how the tie detail creates a waist and shows off a bit of shape 🙂 Can’t go past merino in winter either so this dress ticks all the boxes for me!
The mineral wrap merino dress is my favourite – I love how the tie detail creates a waist and shows off a bit of shape 🙂 Can’t go past merino in winter either so this dress ticks all the boxes for me!
The merino dress is gorgeous!!
Love love love the mineral wrap front merino dress, especially the curved hem. 💜
I am a mama determined to dress my new body shape appropriately!!! Your blog really helps my understand how to dress my curvy body! I really love the Mineral Front Tie dress, so gorgeous! Thanks for the blogs x
The mineral wrap merino dress is my favourite – love the stripes!
Would love the Whistle Purple knit with silver spots. Purple is my favorite colour and I like clothes that are fun and this certainly is 😀
I’m loving the whistle navy swing dress and the fact it will look great on any body shape! My kind of dress and I’m all about Navy at the moment. First time I’ve read chasing Cait and really enjoying it!
Welcome to the blog Holly! Glad to have you around 🙂
How good is the shape of this dress?
The whistle merino navy dress, only because I already own a pair of black merino pants (they’re so good). Wearing pants all winter long gets so boring after a while!
I love the mineral wrap dress. I will go and try this on to see if it does look flattering when you are not so slim. My back up is the swing dress and my other must have is the merino joggers. I am such a cold fish anything which will keep me warm will improve my life.
They are REALLY flattering on all shapes and sizes Sonya 🙂 Thats the beauty of this cut of pant.
The mineral wrap front merino dress looks snazzy enough for work or play. Definitely my pick!
Absolutely LOVE number 3, have just had two babies back to back so not feeling great about my body right now. Love how the dress flows & love the colour. Not usually a dress girl but this one excites me. Have the perfect brown leather boots to team up with this, sure to be a confidence booster.
Love the wrap front dress! Need styles like this for my short-factor!
I love the Mineral Wrap Front Merino Dress. I think it would be a really versatile piece that you can wear with bare legs in Autumn as you have shown. It would also work in winter with tights and another layer either underneath or on top for those of us in the far south that need to keep extra warm☃️
I love the Oliver Black Rust knit! Such a gorgeous color and so versatile… can see it with jeans and boots, or black pants and heels for work. My second pick would be the merino pants as I really struggle with winter – I HATE the cold!
I like them all but my top pick is number 2 – the knit top. Not only is the colour going to brighten up the gloomiest of winter days but the tie around the waist adds a lovely element and more shape to a warm thicker top that’ll keep me warm with no need for yet another layer on top. Love, love, love!
The mineral wrap dress! In fact have plans to head to Farmers to buy this. Trying to get out the door with two young boys is challenging so being able to throw this on will create effortless style and keep me warm as a teacher on field duty!
Definitely the merino joggers. I feel the cold and I’m always looking for something other than jeans and ponti pants to keep me warm.
Love the Merino jogger pants. I’m a kindergarten teacher and they look comfortable and practical enough to wear to work while having a bit more style than my uniform of jeans, jeans, jeans …….
Mineral wrap dress, I love a stripe. And I have 2 pairs of the joggers already 💖
I love the merino pants. I find myself avoiding nice pants in winter and sticking with the same old jeans on repeat, because they’re thicker and warmer. This is the perfect solution!
I love that mineral wrap dress. So simple, stylie and relaxed looking for winter. I love merino in winter. I’m gathering it’s also lovely and soft on the skin?
The stripy Mineral Merino Dress- its gorgeous & I’ve been on the hunt for a Merino dress for winter and this one looks perfect.
I love them all so too hard to pick. I’m a single mum of 2 boys and my 15 year old is severely disabled so I need more clothes as I need to change often due to sticky hands and other mishaps that you don’t want to know about (That’s my excuse anyway!) Farmers is one of my favourite places to shop – I can shop for the whole family and the home all in one fantastic store.
I love the mineral wrap front dress, I don’t normally wear stripes, but this looks great because there is a break in the stripes at the waist. It is well designed. It also looks super comfy! I do believe another trip to Farmers is in order!
OOOH tough choice – I love them ALL! I especially love how you have styled the merino joggers! Thanks for the inspiration.
navy swing dress for sure, got perfect long boots to go
with it.
The mineral wrap dress! I am off to check this out in the weekend. I tend to wear light clothing in winter as I don’t like looking “bulky like a marshmellow” on my already curvy bod, so I can see this dress sneaking into my wardrobe!
Ive just had a baby and the Navy swing dress would defintely be warm AND cover the Mum tum! Xx
They’re all gorgeous but my fave is the mineral wrap dress. I have sensitive skin so love wearing natural fibres especially merino. According to my girls I have an obsession with stripes which really isn’t far from the truth 🙂
Rust top . Great colour and so versatile x
So hard to choose just one but love the navy swing dress… The options to dress up or down are endless! Love the face that it will work with boots, heels or sneakers, a long necklace to dress it up or a cropped denim jacket for a casual weekend look 😍
The oliver black knit top. Great shape, flattering fit and really versatile. Although I really like the first dress too as would look fab with boots and the new winter coat I treated myself too yesterday 😁
I’m loving all these fabulous winter knits Cait especially the wrap dress, But is there anything similar that may be available in Australia?
Hi Lorraine, I know that you would definitely be able to find the same kind of thing in Myer?
Glassons also does the merino joggers, and Sussan always have a great selection of knits too 🙂
The North South merino joggers!
I mean, come on, trackies are great at any time of the year but stylish, merino ones…I NEED THESE!!!
I love the merino wrap dress and the rust knit top. Both look like they’d be very flattering ans easy to wear.
I would love the merino jogger pants. They look so flattering and versatile. These would be a great addition to my wardrobe I’d wear them heaps!
Love the navy dress. I have recently lost 55kg so need a whole new winter wardrobe. This would flatter by hiding the remaining lumpy bits!
It’s a tough choice, but u think I have to choose the Mineral wrap merino dress the best but I’d buy all of those items. Great job narrowing down the amazing selection at Farmers to just 5 items.
The Navy tunic is my pick
Its Stylish, warm and chic
Wearing it at work or play
It would be my favourite any day
And if I got to win the cash
Straight into Farmers I would Dash!
So Thank you Cait for your styling tips
That merino tunic will definitely hide my bits
I love the dress, and the pink cardi in your other post
I would love the whistle navy dress, number 3! Would go with so many things.
Love them all – so warm and toasty. My favourite is the Merino Wrap Front Dress $149.99.
I love the Whistle Knit dress. It’s the perfect base for a go anywhere outfit that will be great dressed up or down.
I think they all look great. But I just love the mineral wrap front merino dress, I love the way it has ties at the front but doesn’t cling in the wrong places. I also love the black and white stripe.
No1 – Mineral merino dress. Love the stripes and the fact it’s a lightweight merino 🙂
Love the dresses but now have a work uniform so wouldn’t get too many chances to enjoy them. What I would love is the pants. I work in a trade environment and it’s a chilly building so would love to be cosy in those.
I would ❤️ to swing into Winter with the gorgeous Whistles 3/4-Sleeve Swing Dress! I’m pregnant with my second bub ( hello 2nd trimester, but I look like I’m in my third!) And.nothing.fits. I’ve never done pregnancy through Winter so I’m struggling and this dress would be fantastic to cover my triple dip double layer fatty booms tum ( well I live in hope) I would mix it up Jessica Parker circa 2001 style 💃
congrats! Such a great dress for the baby bump 🙂
The merino joggers are a great winter twist on one of my favorite summer pieces 💟
The Whistles Navy knit dress is my favourite. Just as perfect for work as for chasing my 4 year old!
I love the merino joggers!!
It’s a toss up between the navy merino swing dress, or those amazingly comfy looking black pants 🙂
The Mineral merino wrap dress 😀 Super keen to try it on, I don’t have much of a waist so interested to see how well the wrap feature will add shape – thanks for the inspiration x
I love, love, love the Mineral wrap dress. Being a curvy size 14-16 I feel this would look amazing on my figure and make a great addition to my wardrobe for both casual and work wear. 🙂
The mineral merino wrap dress. Great dress and can’t beat a dress with boots for winter. Love the cinch with the tie.
The merino stripe dress is my fav!! Love love love it, I think it would suit curves well😁
Merino mineral wrap dress. Looks amazing on so flattering. After having a child I need a few new nice pieces in my wardrobe now I have finally lost the baby weight.
This was a hard decision to make. But I’ve decided that the merino joggers would go with at least if not more three other pieces in my wardrobe – denim jacket, black leather jacket and my long black and white stripped cardigan. Therefore this will be my most vetsitle piece to add to my collection this winter – ❤️
I love the Merino joggers! Practical and stylish – a must in my opinion. Just what every Canterbury farming mum needs for the school run 😉
I love the Merino joggers! Practical and stylish – a must in my opinion. Just what every Canterbury farming mum needs for the school run 😉
I’m really loving the mineral wrap front merino dress, looks amazing on you and like that it has ties to draw in the waist and create shape 👍🏻
Any of these pieces would save my children the embarrassment of being seen with me,AGAIN, in my same old worn out clothes from decades ago. But the Mineral Wrap Dress would make them proud to be seen with me and my beaming smile!
It would have to be the dress – exactly the sort of thing I like to wear in summer but warmer! I’m not hugely curvy so that kind of tie is great for making me look like I have more of a waist than I actually do 🙂
Love love love everything about the mineral merino dress! Gorgeous detail, love stripes and what a clever waist tie!😍
Oh my goodness Cait you look absolutely stunning in every outfit! I adore those Merino Joggers. Not sure if they’d work on my body type but they look so bloody comfortable! Great shots and great backdrops x
thanks chick – you could totally rock those pants! They are super-flattering on everyone (and super-warm to boot) xx
The merino pants look super comfy and cosy and love that you can dress them up or down, also really love the Mineral wrap dress, which would be perfect dot work. So I see how you had trouble getting to 5! I’ll choose the Mineral wrap dress as my top fav 💓
No 1 is my number 1 – love ❤️ the Merino Wrap Front Dress – merino is my favourite winter fabric. I would love to add a winter dress to my wardrobe. Thanks for the chance Farmers.
Merino dress for sure … versatile for work or play 🙂
Love the mineral wrap navy and white stripped 👗
I struggle to choose between the merino front wrap dress and the merino pants – I’d have to buy both!
Ooh – I love the Mineral wrap front dress. I’m a “summer girl” – love my dresses in the summer. In the winter I always seem to resort back to the old jeans – every day. Maybe this is the answer? A visit into Farmers is on the cards now for first day back to school😊
I love the Mineral Merino Wrap Front Dress. Just the thing to make me feel great for winter as I have hardly any dresses and tired of wearing jeans and t-shirts like a uniform.
I love the Whistle Merino Wrap Dress but as I am breastfeeding the more practical option would be the North/ South Merino Jogger pants which I also love and can be paired with some nice breastfeeding friendly tops. ☺
I liked number one the mineral wrap dress but the pants also looked super comfy..
Merino Joggers – yes please! They would be great for keeping warm and running around after the kids at the park during the cooler months. Fingers crossed 🙂
Love them all, I’m breastfeeding and on maternity leave at the mo so the merino jogger pants would be awesome!!
The navy merino dress by Whistles is my fav. Understated but lovely and would be a nice addition to my Mum wardrobe which actually isn’t really a thing – more like a catalog of jeans and t-shirts. Might even be nice to wear out for a date night which is overdue after 2 kids and almost 2 years of staying in!
Love the Mineral merino wrap dress!
The whistle navy knit dress😍
I think for me it would have to be the joggers drag me out of track pants for weekend watching kids sport never tropical on the side line.
I can see the dilemma you had in narrowing your list to 5! I was all set to write mineral wrap dress because, like a wise fashion consultant once told me (here’s winking at you!): stripes are our friend! Plus I loved the curved hem finish on the leg… but then I saw the joggers and I started dreaming how nice they would be. My pick is the joggers. I mean, when you keep dreaming about how they look with all the tops in your wardrobe, that means they’re the one, right? Thanks Cait!
hahaha yes, if you keep dreaming about them, they are meant to be!
“Stripes are your friend” haha – so proud 😉
I love the look of the mineral wrap dress – such a good length for winter. I hate bulk in winter – love merino and down jackets (a must in the south island) for not adding bulk and heaviness.
I’m plus size so don’t know if the mineral wrap dress would fit me but really love the look of it.
The pants. They look so comfy yet stylish. Lovr how you have shown how you can wear these.
I’m loving the mineral wrap front merino dress and can definitely see this in my wardrobe this winter! Love how it gives a bit of shape with the waist tie & love the striped look too,
I’d love the navy merino dress from whistle. Navy is a great colour and the style looks so good. I live in a pretty cold climate so something that I can layer is important. The wrap font dress would be next on my list. Thanks for sharing
I would love the Oliver Black rust knit. I’ve been looking for a top this colour for ages. Also need/want the two dresses! 😋
Love No 1. The merino stripped dress.
I love number 1 the merino black and white striped dress.
Mineral wrap front merino dress ❤️❤️❤️
I would love a Whistle Merino navy dress. Simple yet so elegant!!! And that shape!!! I just wanna swirl!!! 😘
Loving the merino joggers!
The wrap dress is gorgeous. I love the idea of warmth without bulk!
They are all lovely. I’ll go with the wrap dress as it looks so flattering and I don’t wear dresses much in winter. But those merino joggers are on my list too if I win!!
I just love the whistle navy merino swing dress – comfy, warm and sassy all at the same time, just the gap filler my wardrobe needs! Will definitely be checking out Farmers now ☺
Definitely the wrap dress. This looks like it could get me out of my comfort zone and add dresses to my wardrobe. How fab would that be? I’d feel like a new woman and who doesn’t want that from time to time? !
For me, it has to be #1 – the Mineral Wrap Merino Dress. Not only does it look comfortable yet super smart, the words ‘not clingy’ and how it creates shape around your waist jump out to me as a Mum of three with the youngest being 5 months 😀 Thanks for another fabulous blog with stylish yet wearable clothes!
The navy dress would be my first choice and the grey combo looks great….I have too much black in my wardrobe
I’m naked!
That’s right, I’ve done it!
I’ve gone minimalist and now I have no clothes to wear!!
I’d love to try the Mineral Merino wrap dress pretty please…..
I’m a bit cold.
bahahahaha!!! great answer
haha brrrrrrr
I love #1 mineral wrap dress. It’s a great style, lovely length, nice hem line and would be perfect for me to wear into my classroom.
Mineral wrap front merino dress
Def liking the pants, they look (& sound) really nice and cozy!
Definitely the joggers. More versatile than all pieces as you can we at cuddled up at home AND Dress up. Two for one… way to go
I love the wrap dress, but think I would get the most wear out of the merino joggers, I could dress them down during the week for my job as a pe teacher and up on the weekend (the opposite to what most people would do).
The Whistle Navy dress because I think it would suit me and be a change from black
Loooove the jogger pants!! I wear a work uniform all day and when I get home I just want to put on something comfy to help me relax but I also need them to look funky Incase I have to duck out in public to pick up the kids etc. these would be perfect and I could just chuck on my white sneakers and look fab! 😍
Love the merino wrap dress ❤️ Perfect for an hourglass and no bulk 👌
Hi Cait, I love the Merino Navy Dress. Gorgeous, great to get away from black; women wear far too much black and I have always believed it actually ages us. Throw in a navy and wammo, stunning with tan, white, brown, burgundy etc.
Colour combos are endless. You look like a super model btw!
Oh! Love the merino dress. . Am about to start a new job and so need a wardrobe update!
Love the Whistle Navy Merino Dress. A comfy warm style which would certainly add a spring to my step with the swing of the dress 🙂
Definitely the Whistle dress for me because it is elegant, stylish and versatile. You can dress this one up for the office or down for a relaxing weekend outing.
My fav would have to be the mineral wrap dress. I’m mad for stripes at the moment. I’ve recently discovered your blog and purchased your ebook and am in the process of culling my wardrobe -tricky process. I’ve too many “I’m holding onto pieces”. Once it’s gone I’m looking forward to refreshing and restyling my look. Happy times. Xx
The first one, the striped merino wrap dress! I’m literally obsessed with anything striped, so this would fit into my wardrobe perfectly. Plus in winter I’m usually a jeans and baggy jumper kind of girl so this beautiful dress would really get me out of my comfort zone (in a good way!).
Definitely #3. Whistle Navy Merino Knit Dress. I love how you’ve styled it with the grey and tan – a fabulous look for winter!
Tempted by them all but my favourite colour is purple and my word of the year is SHINE so would have to be the Zest knit 🙂 If I won, I could put the extra towards that rust knit too….
I love the mineral wrap dress. It’s so nice to still be able to wear a dress in winter instead of just pants and jeans all the time….and be warm
Love the navy Whistle merino dress!
Whistle navy merino dress for sure! I too struggle in winter but I definitely am making the effort this year to get some warmer clothes as I always fall short and get cold!
Definitely the merino wrap dress. I was in Farmers the other day looking for the blush skirt that you wrote about a couple of weeks ago. I couldn’t find the skirt, but I picked up some other nice pieces. I also didn’t see this dress.
The merino joggers look soo comfy and are super flattering. .you look fab in them! I’ve never seen merino pants before…such a great idea! These would be fantastic for winter.. fingers crossed I win as I really like the look of these pants 🙂
Definitely the Whistle merino dress! Love, love, LOVE merino for winter 🙂
Honestly? You’ve sold me and I’d pick any of them! My ‘wardrobe’ is desperately in need of anything that fits well and isn’t wearing out. My four kiddies get priority considering they actually need clothes that fit every new season – dang they grow fast. I can’t remember the last time I went shopping by myself for ME! Sop story I know, lol, but I figure there’ll be those who relate… xx
The mineral wrap dress! Love the sleeves, love the waist. Love how it could be dressed up or down by a simple change of accessories.
Love the Mineral wrap dress.
Loving the joggers, they would be a nice change from jeans for winter ❤❄️
The navy dress caught my eye straight away. One of my aims this winter is less black more navy!
Love the look of the mineral wrap dress. I am a bit bottom heavy and without some waist definition I look very wide. Will def be popping into farmers to try this one!
Hello mineral wrap front dress 😍 where have you been all my life. Functional, gorgeous and warm; the winter trifecta. This is my number one pick but scooting in a close second is the Oliver rust top. The way you’ve styled that is perfectly on point 👌
For me it would have to be the merino wrap dress as I love the idea of it flattering your waist without drawing attention to the tummy-also it could be dressed up or dressed down
Definitely the Mineral Merino Wrap Front Dress- it’s like the cosy winter cousin of my favourite ever summer spliced stripe maxi dress from Max, which also has clever detailing to accentuate the waist. I love the contrasting plain black on the sleeves, too. Using everything I have learnt from following your blog, I’d be teaming this with converse and a denim jacket for the school run, or dressing it up with ankle boots and a leather jacket, adding in black tights when winter sets in- though the merino fabric up too makes this dress much more versatile- it will keep you cosy and able to go bare-legged longer than the average bare (ha ha, couldn’t resist joke – lame I know!). Thanks, Cait, for an inspiring post that helps me look forward to chilly days!
Thanks so much for this blog Cait because I feel exactly the same as you when it comes to knitwear. In saying that now I don’t know which to choose because they all look amazing! I’m torn between the North/South Merino Jogger pants (which look so good with the bomber) and the Mineral wrap front merino dress – so love the wrap front on this……. Eeeeeeekkkkkk too many great options 🙂
Gosh so many gorgeous choices. I absolutely love the Mineral Mireno Wrap dress followed closely by the Whistle Merino Navy Dress, pair of cute wee boots. Either of these would be perfect for the cooler weather, from work to meeting friends for coffee. A perfect combination.
The Whistle navy swing dress is perfect as you say it is suitable for all sizes and shapes. Yay. I’m also loving navy at the moment 😃
The Whistle Navy Dress! 😍😍
I am such a Navy fan, as black makes me look sick.
Finding Navy dress is not to easy. 🙏
Love them all, however the toss up is between the Whistle Merino swing dress, to hide but flow beautifully and I just love navy, and the North South merino joggers, for some r and r or dressing up. I really loved how your photos gave us a closer perspective of the clothing, not just one photo of the model. Thanks
Uhh….I am totally understanding how you had trouble narrowing it down to 5 items! All of them look amazing and it’s time to go to Farmers for a good look! If I had to choose one item it would be the zest pullover as I don’t feel I have enough colour in my wardrobe and this looks fun and stylish with personality!
Just love the first dress – cant go wrong with some little stripes!
Love Farmers! My Nana used to take me to down town Farmers as a child – for me of my favourite memories. The top floor had a massive playground and cafe 🙂
Fornme it’s the blue swing dress ❤️
I love the navy merino dress. Navy is my favourite colour to wear and I love that the dress will hide my new baby belly.
The Oliver Black Rust Knit is my pick. It suits any body shape, the colour is fabulous and the cinch in waist tie provides interest while hiding all the bumps! What more does an amazing woman need?
It’s a tough choice for sure!! These are all really great pieces – thank you for picking them – they will all be perfect for my Winter Wardrobe! If I really had to pick something it would be the Whistle Merino Navy Dress – I love the Navy colour and the hat you’re wearing with it. It looks so beautiful, warm and stylish too! (The black merino pants were a close second – perfect for the Saturday Morning Rugby Mum 😉
The merino pants would be my choice 🙂
I don’t know which one to choose but if had to pick the navy dress which you have paired with the wool hat and over the knee boots. I love dresses and need to.add more merino into winter. Like the idea of not wearing to many layers.
Absolutely love the joggers!
Farmers here I come 🙂
The mineral wrap front dress would be my pick, I love merino in winter, layering up and pulling different colours, styles and textures. this would be great under my fave, a blazer, or with a furry vest or a merino long line . The possibilities are endless….!
The merino joggers!! I find it really hard to find warm trousers/pants for winter that are so versatile. I love that you find items and give so many great suggestions on different ways to wear them!
It’s a really hard choice!!! But I’d love the zest purple knit 😁 it’s gorgeous xx
Merino jogger pants!!! I struggle to find pants that look ok on me and these ones look very cool.
I love the navy whistle merino dress , so versatile with tights & boots, over legging & jeans or dress up with chunky jewellery along with high heel for a night out !
Wrap dress, if it looks as good on me as you! Lovely to get that shape around waist
Hmm tough choice…. the joggers please
I would love the Mineral wrap front merino dress as it would be so versatile and dresses push me out of my comfort zone a bit which is a good thing! I also love the bags in this shoot, they are exactly what I have been looking for. Are they from Farmers too?
Love how you have styled the whistle merino wrap dress and navy would be a nice change.
I’d choose the merino wrap front dress. It looks so warm but stylish!
Definitely the zest purple knit with spots….I love the colour the fine knit and it would suit me best with my short no-waistedness
I would love the Whistles navy merino dress! I love wearing dresses (I’m like you I much prefer Summer clothes!) but the merino dress looks like it’s very easy to wear Winter dress which would great either dressed up & down!
I love the first dress – the wrap one. So pretty and it looks comfy and flattering 🙂
The Mineral wrap dress is perfect! I work outside alot so a dress in merino is a dream come true
I love the whistle merino navy dress. I have such a thing for navy at the moment and absolutely love merino though it is quite pricey!
Hard choices!! I will be adding the joggers (love how you dressed them up for workwear) and probably also the blue/silver top! Need some colour in winter 😍 All about keeping the core and feet warm! 😜
I love the Rust Oliver Black knit. I so miss colour, shape, and fun clothes in winter!! But it seems this top has all those. I will take more time to browse in the women’s section next time I’m in Farmers (sans little people!)
I love the whistle navy dress
It’s merino and stylish – simply the best
When the weather turns and it starts to get cold
We’ll be dressed warm and fashionable and that never gets old.
I like the look of the warm Merino joggers with the cute bomber jacket. To be able to dress this look up or down really appeals. I have lost nearly 50kgs in the last year and I’m so enjoying being able to wear these labels at Farmers.
Love the Mineral Merino Wrap dress. Perfect for my curves. The black waist tie adds an hour glass look. The stripes are a classic print that will never date. I would love to be able to add this dress to my wardrobe. Thanks Cait!
I loooove the merino pants – they look fantastic and they sound oh so comfy! As a new mum who’s juggling returning to work, having a great warm pair of pants in my wardrobe that take me from coffee Group to meeting room would be perfect! One less thing to juggle in the mornings 👌💗
Love the merino jogger pants xx
Hmmmmm, toss up between the Mineral wrap front merino dress and the Whistle navy merino knit dress…either would be fab for just throwing on in the morning (no choosing which top with which bottoms!) and doing the preschool drop off and onto work. On balance, I think the Whistle dress as I looooove navy and it would give me the most versatility in my wardrobe 🙂 Loving the tip to team with gray and tan too!
definitely love the mineral merino wrap dress, it’s just slightly different from all the other striped dresses out at the mo and has the added benefit of being merchants no too.
The Whistle navy merino knit dress looks comfy and stylish. I love the versatility of this piece, with leggings or stockings and boots or over skinny jeans. Perfect!
The Oliver Black rust knit top is my pick. I like a more fitted piece and I like the styling of this top, the tie waist is right on trend and adds a bit of wow factor to the top, the colour pops for winter. It’s just a little bit different and makes a statement. I try to wear brighter colours, especially in winter as I hate winter with a passion so getting away from the more somber colours works for my mood too 😍
Ooooo love the merino pants! Lush!
Ooooh the merino joggers! I need those. They look amazing
I love the look of the Whistle navy merino dress! It looks so flattering, but simple.
I was just looking for some new warm clothes today – I get so cold in winter! I love the Whistle Merino Dress. Navy is much more flattering on me than black and it looks lovely and cosy. I think I’ll be visiting Farmers anyway to look at some of these options.
I really like the zest pullover and love the merino pants!
I would definitely go for the navy swing dress. Cute but also practical with my kiddies!
Number 1. The wrap merino dress. I’m returning to work after having my gorgeous baby and let’s face it I need all the help I can get.
Lovely post thanks! The merino joggers would be perfect! They are excellent for travelling as they can be dressed up or down (prefect for that long-haul flight too).
Fabulous post thanks Cait. Love these style options for winter.
Wow absolutely love the merino wrap dress. Love the length and that tie at the waist is super flattering. I think a trip to Farmers after the school holidays is a must 🙂
This post made me want to go out and buy all of them! Such gorgeous pieces – my favourite is the merino wrap front dress!!!!! I’d prob wear this everyday in winter with boots to stay snugly warm
Ooooooh merino joggers!! I love them!!! I was just saying today to my hubby that I was on the hunt for some new pants other than jeans. These would be amazing! 💞
I love the Mineral Striped Dress and think I need to track it down! Found a few great pieces at Farmers lately, especially from Whistle and Oliver Black.
I love the Whistle navy merino swing dress. Navy is one of my all-time favourite. This dress looks comfortable and flattering and I’d totally have to buy that hat as well. Great pairing with both the grey and tan.
Wow the Farmers buyers have really done well. I love the Mineral merino wrap dress – this is on my wish list definitely.
I would love to give the merino black trackies a try- soooooo versatile & great for Saturday morning rugby with the kids!!!! CHOOOICE!!!!
How great is the Whistle navy merino dress ! The most perfect go too dress that would be the corner stone of my winter wardrobe ! I’m thinking it would be perfect with my ridiculously vast back catalogue of scarves and boots !! Merino for the win !!
Merino knit dress! But all the pieces look great
I live in Merino at winter. Thank you for the lovely choices. I love the Whistle Navy Merino Knit Dress and could see me wearing this on the sidelines of my sons rugby game or at work!
I need those merino joggers for night shift!! 😍😍
Love the jogger pants ❤❤❤
The whistle navy merino swing dress for sure! Uber cute style for work
I love the first one (the wrap dress) because of the waist. I am 5’3″ and don’t have a small waist so this would be a great way to create one! It also looks like it has sneaky side panels which also help to create this – something I need!
I’ve had surgery (Feb 8th) and although I’ve eaten healthily I have only just started being able to exercise again. So – onwards and upwards – but I do love this dress!
I’m not a dress girl, so no.5 it is for me❤️ Them😊
Love all 5 looks however my overall favourite is the navy Whistle swing dress. Think a visit to Farmers is on the cards this weekend. …
Loved the Oliver Black Rust Knit Top! Loved that whole outfit. ..the skirt n boots too! Gorge!
Love the merino joggers..! 😊Look so warm and comfy.
Love the mineral merino wrap but tried on the other day and its far too long for me (real shorty!!) So i would say the oliver black rust knit. Love the colour and think it would be very flattering…
Oh I love those joggers! I’ve been searching high and low for a pair and these look fab! 😍 I’d love them x
My mission this year was to wear more skirts and dresses which has been easy so far. The Mineral merino wrap dress could help me achieve this over the winter. However, my new mission will then be making sure the razor doesn’t go into hibernation!! 😛
I looooooooooove the Whistle merino knit dress, I love the shape, colour, everything! Would be so perfect for a cold Christchurch winter. I’d wear it with my long red boots because I love the combo of navy+red!
Ooooh I just LOOOOOVE the Whistle Navy Merino Knit dress!! Mostly because, well….Navy! Adore 😍 But also because I just love the length! It’s perfect for winter and to skim any lumps without adding the dreaded bulk. Looks like I’m off to Farmers!
I think I’m game to try the joggers. Love comfy clothes that still look good outside the house.
Love the wrap dress and if I could choose two closely followed by the merino joggers!
WOW, I’m honestly struggling to pick one. Once again Cait you have picked so many items that I now feel I NEED! If I had to pick 1, it would be the Whistle Swing Dress, solely as I’m pregnant and it could keep me snuggly this winter. I’m sure I also need ALL of the rest for next winter though 🙂
I’m torn between the navy merino dress or the pants. I work at a school, my office used to be a cloak bay, so it’s freezing!! Either items would keep me warm so I didn’t turn into a cold grumpy teacher!
Love the navy Whistle Merino Knit dress!
Merino Joggers!! I definitely need these in my life!! 😂
Loving the mineral wrap merino dress cause lets face it me and dresses in winter are a bit of a no go zone. After all winter for me is about white hairy legs lol. With this dress that is sure to be avoided. I will treat myself to a spray tan and get my ‘sexy’ on with a dress in winter x
Oooh I adore the Oliver Rust knit.
I adore the mineral wrap front dress. It’s simply beautiful! It’s my kind of dress! I can see myself wearing it often with from now right through the coldest parts winter. May need to visit farmers!
Mineral Wrap front merino dress. I can see this as a staple of my wardrobe too. Just gorgeous.
Just LOVE the Mineral wrap front merino dress … I really feel the cold and just live in merino all winter. Think this dress is just fab. Warmth + style in one 🙂
Love the Whistle Navy swing dress!
Ohhhhhh I love the merino wrap dress I’m obsessed with stripes and know I would get so much wear out of this 😍
Definitely no 1. Today hubby and I went shopping for our 7th wedding anniversary (wool). I should have gone to Farmer’s. I came home empty handed 🙁
Oooh, I love that mineral dress! I might have to go and try it on 🙂
Love this post thanks . I have exactly the same problem every winter. Add the layers needed for getting to work & being comfortable at work in the aircon & it’s more than a Michelin sitch! Hard choice go Farmers !Anyway it’s the mineral wrap dress for the win 👍
Love the north/south merino joggers. These are so me and look like the perfect pants to go from work to home playing with the kids. Absolutely gorgeous x
The Oliver Black Rust Knit top! It’s a bit different from everything I own! And I really need some colour in my wardrobe!
Would have to be the mineral merino wrap dress but a hard choice so,e lovely options and after 8years wearing corporate uniform I need some winter clothes!
I love, love, love winter merino
It’s perfect for me and the bambino
Warm and snuggly all day,
What can I say?
It’s the Mineral Wrap Front dress all the way!
I like the Whistle Merino Navy knit dress best, a little unsure of the swing style cut but trust your recommendations.
Definitely the merino wrap dress! great for work
I would definitely go for the joggers! Who would have thought, no more uncomfortable trousers for winter time. I’m not much of a dress person so these would be perfect for winter. Plus you can still wear a killer pair of shoes with them xxx
I love the Mineral Merino Wrap Front Dress. Sounds like it’s a winner all round and so might have to be quick to snap one up.
Definitely the merino wrap dress!
Ooh tough decision but I think I like the Whistle Merino Navy knit dress best, a little unsure of the swing style cut but trust your recommendations.
I love the whistle navy merino knit dress. I have always worn A lot of black, but as I turned 40 last year I decided I needed to colour my world more. I felt like the black was aging and depressing me. I try to only wear black on my lower half or shoes. Although I do have that one black tee! I would love to win the voucher so I could shop for myself guilt free instead of buying for the kids! 😉
I would love love love the merino navy dress – it looks so versatile and can be worn with anything 🙂 Easy to wear and super warm 🙂
The mineral wrap merino dress is fabulous stylish and on trend – Yes please 😘💕and thank you
I would love to add the mineral wrap front dress to my work wardrobe – looks fab and loooooove merino 👌
I would add the mineral wrap front dress to my wardrobe.
It looks super flattering and as a stay at home Mum with two little people it would be great to chuck on with whatever shoes I came across and head out the door, and in that dress I know I would be warm and feel good.
Wow these look great! I would love to add the wrap front merino dress to my wardrobe. I am in desperate need of some new knits this winter, the last ones I got were pre-baby – 3 years ago!
I’m really into knits and the Zest purple knit with spots look amazing!! It would be great to lighten up a work shirt outfit.
Have to say first off, you look amazing in every single outfit and you’ve teamed together things I’ve never thought of wearing together. My absolute fav is the Oliver Black rust top, def what I need! Looks so great on that skirt too. Followed by a close second is the navy dress
Definitely the Mineral Merino Wrap Dress . Looks cosy and stylish ❤️. Farmers have some great stuff !
Ooooooo tough decision between the mineral wrap front dress, the whistle navy dress or those merino joggers. I feel like all 3 may be making an appearance in my winter wardrobe!!!
I love the Oliver Black Rust top, it looks like it would make the most of my greatest asset, a small waist, and smooth over my dreaded saddlebags. Love the colour too, perfect to go with my brunette hair, brown eyes and olive skin.
Such a great post. I was in farmers the other day and loved lots of the options but esp the blue dress. It would be perfect for work
Ohhh I love the Mineral wrap front dress, love love love it!
I’d add the whistle navy merino dress… Would look great with leggings or opaque tights and boots. I’d add a chunky necklace. Great for work and weekends!
Love the striped wrap dress!!! I’m exactly the same with wool and bulk – my figure is way too curvy to have time for that!!! I’ll be hunting that dress down
#5 the joggers – look great with the heels!
Number 5! The black pants …a great item that would get so much use over winter
The Whistle merino navy dress is my fave! Young stylish warm and takes away that bulky look.
I’m loving the mineral wrap front merino dress.
I have a mum tum and I know I should embrace this as it’s mine, it’s me, who I am right now…but I am conscious of it and I think with the side and waits tie detail to this dress it’ll just clinch in where needed to get my waist and with the stripes and detail reflect away from my most “disliked” body part.
Love everything here though. All great winter pieces.
I would love 😍 Those jogger pants, look perfect for lounging at home, or keeping warm by the side of the soccer field!!
Love ❤️ the Whistle Merino Knit Dress – it can be dressed up for work or down for weekend – so versatile!
Mineral wrap front merino dress, it looks easy to wear. 😊
LOVE the Whistle merino navy knit dress! I live in dresses with tights and boots in winter and this would be so easy to throw on – I also run around after a 1 year old all day so would be super comfy! And the colour is perfect!
I love the Mineral Merino Wrap Front Dress – it looks so comfortable, easy to go from day to night and keep you warm.
Definitely the merino dress, I LOVE stripes, I love merino and that length is great 🙂
For the farmers competition…….I’d choose the merino trackies, because they look sooooo comfy! Thanks xx Katie
Wow I haven’t been to Farmers for ages and it looks like they’ve really up’d their game. Everything looks great on you Cait but I especially like the first merino wrap dress it looks really versatile and really flattering with the tie in waist.
Guess a trip to Farmers might be on the cards. 😊
I would love to add the Whistle Navy Merino dress to my wardrobe. Its great to have a nice dress to wear in winter instead of jeans & trousers. A nice one for work too! 😊
Great selection. My pick is number one, the mineral wrap dress. I love the tie and the way it pulls in the waist 👍🏻.
