I always say this but it’s true! This is my favourite series on the blog! I just really love sharing with you guys how you really can get the most out of your purchases!
And this time, sticking with the accessories theme we seem to have going on lately, I wanted to show you how to get the most out of these cute wedges from Rubi Shoes….. and the good news is that they are on sale for $30 right now! Get them here.
I love a good wedge, you get the height and glamour of a heel, but less risk of a broken ankle haha.
But really, wedges are a great option for daytime, or if you aren’t a heel-wearer, they will help you dress up an outfit at night.
I’ve styled these wedges with three different looks to get you through summer…..
Daytime casual
GET THE LOOK: Portmans top $79.95 | Asos jeans (similar) $60 | H&M earrings $14.99 in store now | Rubi shoes wedges $30
I love these particular wedges because they are actually really comfy to wear all day! The angle of the wedge isn’t too dramatic so it doesn’t hurt your foot like some wedges can.
Add to a pair of jeans and a fun top and you’ve got a great daytime look that feels a little more dressy than sandals, but just a comfy!
To the Maxi
GET THE LOOK: Singlet similar from Just Jeans $24.95 | Binny maxi skirt $275 | Rubi shoes wedges $30
Maxi dresses and skirts are everywhere this summer and they are perfect for a wedge (particularly if you are vertically challenged…..). I’ve paired mine with this GORGEOUS maxi skirt from Aussie label Binny, but there are plenty of dresses to choose from too.
All Black
GET THE LOOK: Playsuit from Witchey last year, similar here | Rubi shoes wedges $30
I know that it’s hard to get out of the black funk for some of you when Spring starts, so why not just change up your shoe colour! Khaki is a great match with black, and because it’s slightly lighter, it helps to make your legs look longer – bonus!
These are definitely a pair of shoes you can get a LOT of wear out of it you mix them up a little. They also come in black, but I do love the slightly softer colour of the khaki, so versatile with your Spring/Summer wardrobe!
And DON’T WORRY about the ankle strap cutting your leg off, it’s low enough down on your ankle not to have to worry about that. Trust me, I got ya back!
What do you think? Is there something specific you’d like to see in this 1 item, 3 ways series? Let me know in the comments below and I’ll try and feature it!
