I’ve got a confession to make – I’ve been SUPER lazy with washing my hair this summer. It’s REALLY long, and I’ve been swimming HEAP both in the pool for fitness and at the beach just for fun…
And do you know how long it takes to wash and blow dry this much hair?!?! A long time, let me tell you.
So will my friend, dry shampoo (watch the video post on it HERE) and my new friend, head scarf, I’ve been hiding my dirty hair and now I’m going to show you how to do it too!
Way number 1 – the Hippie Tie
Here’s how you do it…….
I have it from reliable sources (ie. the interwebs) that boho/romantic is making a comeback this year (not that it ever left really). This is the perfect hair style to compliment your kaftans and baubbles and birkenstocks 😉
Way number 2: the high pony
And here’s how you do it……
Sometimes I feel like a high pony is too harsh on my face, it pulls it all back a little too much. But when you add a scarf, it seems to soften the look a little – also great when ones roots are dirty, or over-grown for you blondies out there!
Way number 3: Lady Like
And here’s how you do this style…..
Sometimes you just want to be all girly (but you still might have dirty hair haha) so this way works well for those occasions. This style works best if you have shorter layers, or even a fringe, but you can still make do without.
The trick is all in the SCARF! You want a long, thin, lightweight one if possible – like the old Witchery one I’m using in the clips. The best ones are usually from those little scarf and socks stalls in the middle of most malls – the longer and thinner the better!
Or you could just cheat a little and by some of the “ready made” styles that are around now-a-days, like these two
