Who doesn’t like a bit of “bang-for-buck” when they are buying clothes? Everybody wants to get the most out of the garments they buy, so to help you along that track, I’ve started a series on the blog called “One Item, Three Ways”. (HERE is last weeks post if you missed it). It’s focused on looking at different ways to wear those items that we all have in our wardrobe, but maybe don’t get as much use of of them as we’d like.
OR – I’ll share with you something maybe you haven’t tried because you are not sure how to wear it – hopefully this will give you a few ideas
Here is the second post in the series – today we’re talking about how to get the most out of a PRINTED SHIRT.

WITH JEANS ~ I’m loving the Boyfriend Jeans trend at the moment (read more about it HERE) so what a great way to get that smart/casual look going than with a pair of jeans (casual) and a printed shirt (smart)

WITH ANOTHER PRINT ~ I’m a fan of print-on-print IF it’s done the right way! Make sure there is some sort of unifying factor when mixing prints. I’ve mixed a navy and white print, with a navy and white print – so it works.

SOMETHING MORE RELAXED ~ We immediately think because it’s a button-up shirt, it must be dressy, but one of the hottest trends coming through for Spring is the Sports Luxe trend, which allows you to wear some of those more ‘dressy’ pieces in a more relaxed way.
I’ve teamed my shirt with a pair of draped jersey jogger pants (THE key piece in the Sport Luxe trend) and some trainers.
