Winter is coming – scary I know! But you can see it in the stores already! I’ve given up looking for maxi dresses and sandals to get me through the rest of summer and have started thinking about what I will wear when the days aren’t so long and warm anymore!
Fashion works so far ahead of itself and it drives me nuts sometimes – I’m all about making fashion easy, In the moment, not thinking about what you are going to wear in 6 months time…… but in this case, there are sparkle-y things involved!
This is going to be my motto this autumn/winter
I LOVE anything that has sequins, crystals or glitter attached (I’m kinda a bower bird like that) so it’s with extreme delight that I see more and more and more sparkle slowly creeping into stores with the winter stock!
OK, so I admit that maybe everyone does not love sparkles as much as me (but really, who doesn’t love a bit of bling) so I’m going to show you a few ways to work embellishment and sparkle into your winter wardrobe, starting from the baby steps you can take if you’re not a massive bling-wearer – right up to how to ROCK it out in full embellish mode! A little detail on the shoulder of a simple top or dress is always adds a little embellishment without going overboard.
