Now normally I try and pick a trend that will translate into everyday use. But this one? Not so much #sorrynotsorry. I just LOVE these shoes. So this is one for all you shoe fiends out there.
In all those hours spent cruising around *ehm* I mean researching, on Pinterest and international fashion blogs, I’ve noticed a particular shoe is growing in popularity – the lace up heels.
This is such a great example of using Pinterest to get some style inspiration! Ever since I first noticed these shoes, I’ve been pinning different ways to wear them over on a specifically-created Pinterest board. It gives me outfit ideas and inspirations sure, but it also helps work the new shoes into my existing wardrobe.
I look for outfits that I can emulate with clothes I already own, that way I’m not just buying the shoes because they are pretty (although I have been known to do that), I’m buying them to complete specific looks that I’ve planned – make sense?
Enter Number One Shoes – I was in there a few weeks ago with a girlfriend of mine, just a quick trip, and these little numbers caught my eye….
Monroe dress sandals from Number One Shoes $69.99
I had to have them, so they came home with me that day. And what I love about them is their versatility – sounds weird I know, but if you look at how other people have styled them, they work with pretty, girly dresses, straight pencil skirts, or even pants and jeans!
Here are a few ways I’ve worn them so far;
Totally inspired to buy your own pair now? So as well as the Number One Shoes pair I scored, here’s a bunch more;
Do I have you convinced yet? Are you a shoe-girl like me? Or are you jumping up and down with the news that Birkenstocks are back in fashion (I know, I don’t believe it either). Tell me about your shoe habits, I want to know!
Until next time,
In Love & Style Always

Loving these shoes lady and they look fab on you!
For some reason in my head they remind me of my winter booties (which I love) but the summer friendly version. I’m feeling I may need to buy myself a pair…
You would totally rock a pair of these!! I can see it now….. xx
