Welcome to Underwear Week on Chasing Cait – this week we are talking all things briefs, undies, panties, jocks and nana undies just to start!
This series has come about because I spend a lot of time in change-rooms with different women (wait, that came out wrong) What I mean is, as a personal stylist and shopper, I see HEAPS of women trying on clothes in change-rooms and so many times they don’t like how a garment fits over their lumps and bumps, but the majority of the time, it has nothing to do with the woman’s body, but it have everything to do with the terrible UNDERWEAR she is wearing!
The right foundation garments can MAKE the outfit – that’s why they are called FOUNDATION garments! They set the tone for the rest of the outfit. You wouldn’t put your eye-shadow and blush on without applying foundation (or BB cream if you are me) would you? Well the same principle applies to clothing.
This week we are going to talk about the basics – what you need in your underwear drawer, how to take care of that HORRID VPL (visible pantie line), the in’s and out’s of ‘suck-em-in’ garments (SPANX and the like), how to find the right bras (especially for BIG BOOBS!) and where to find sexy matching sets (for those of us that are still childless haha! KIDDING!)… so let’s get started!
