Merry Christmas!!
Did you know Christmas is less than a month away??!? Of course you did….. meanwhile, I’m quietly panicking in a corner. My sister-in-law is FINISHED her Christmas shopping (I know, she is totally organised… I’m a Sagittarius – I’m not).
So I took it upon myself to trawl the Internet for hours looking for cool things put in many hours of hard work and research for you to come up with my top 5 Christmas gifts under $50 (because a girl loves a bargain!)
1. A personalised iPhone or iPad case from castagram.com from US$34.95
You can use your own photos from your Instagram or Facebook account, or just upload images from your computer. You can also choose the layout of your case – totally personalised. The best bit? They ship internationally for free! Make sure you order before December 3 to get it in time for a Chrissy present.
2. Make your own Keep Calm poster from US$20 (for A2 size poster)
There are heaps of websites that can help you create your own Keep Calm posters, but this site has a few more options. You can change the background, the icon and ALL the words. Choose from posters of different sizes to canvases to mugs and iPhone cases. So off you go, start designing here
3. Tea for one – CottonOn/Typo AU$ 29.95
My darling English friends (Imo and Katie I’m talking to you) taught me if in doubt, drink tea – what a perfect mantra to pass on to friends and family this Christmas. This vintage-style tea for one set from CottonOn/Typo is a super-sweet stocking stuffer for a sister or a girlfriend dontcha think?
(You can find this either online here, or in most CottonOn and Typo stores in both Aus and NZ)
4. Clinique Chubby Sticks NZ$ 25/AU$19.50 from strawberrynet.com
Well it’s pink so I’m sold! Clinique chubby sticks are a combination moisturiser/colour for your lips. Available in a bunch of summer shades, it will give you a perfect pout for a night out with the girls, or the Christmas Day BBQ with the fam. And they smell yummy too!! (I’ll have one of each shade in my stocking thanks honey – hint hint!)
4. Laptop case AU$19.95 – CottonOn/Typo (click here to buy)
This saying makes me laugh. I’m superficial. Whatever. CottonOn and Typo have an amazing range of gifts (most under $20) – If I had my way, my house would be filled with little knick-knacks from there!!! This is just one of their fun, silly laptop cases they have – great idea for a secret santa at work? Or a younger sister or bother who is still studying? (or an amazing Aussie-born-kiwi-residing fashion blogger that you know and love? no?)
Now I just need the Macbook Pro to fit into the case (a girl can only hope!!).
Have you done your Christmas shopping yet? What’s on your list this year?
Happy shopping! Cait xo
😀 hahaha! Number 2 is great!! 😉 Thanks for this. I was just hoping some of the NZ bloggers I know of would do something like this. I haven’t been here for long and don’t know many places where to shop so this type of post is really useful!
Oh you’re welcome! All these items are available in both Aus and NZ so you should be able to get your hands on all of them! (‘ve only just come across from Aussie 9 months ago so I’m still exploring too!)
Typo/CottonOn is a TREASURE TROVE of goodies! I’ll be doing most of my Christmas shopping there!
