Aughhh guys! Life right? It just seems like its all getting in the way at the moment so my apologies for the radio silence.

In the last month we’ve moved house, had a visit in an ambulance to hospital (not me, the hubby – he’s ok!), gone on holidays, lost a cat, unpacked a new house, and survived a first trimester full or morning sickness all day.

Phew. So I’m back. The blog is back. And seeing as life imitates blog, imitates life, I wanted to share with you some of my top finds I’ve been living in through the first trimester of my pregnancy, but that YOU can wear even if you’re not pregnant!

I hate the thought of a) not being able to wear all the clothes I already have, and b) spending money on things that I’m only going to wear for about a month, so I try not to buy too much specifically maternity stuff.

Here are a few things I’ve found have been great for the expanding belly (man, it really does pop quicker the second time around right?) but are also just good for your everyday style, bump or no bump…. here they are.

OK, so I know that is six, but I’m counting both shoes as one ok? Here’s what the pieces are and why I’m loving them right now.

1. Deuce Emila sneakers from Merchant 1948 $169.90

These babies (or the Minx Willott Boots are similar) are super-comfortable for running around everyday, but have that little bit of funkiness in the style, just something a little different from your usual trainers. Great for doing errands (and even shopping with clients) and my back isn’t sore at the end of the day!

2. Ziera Toni Slides $199.95

You guys know I love these babies. They are perfect for tired, pregnant feet (or tired, not-pregnant feet!) SO comfortable, great cushioning in the shoe, and the metallic goes with everything!

3. Decjuba Riley biker jeans $99.95 ^

I haven’t quite made it back into my maternity jeans yet, but these feel like the next best thing! They are super-stretchy, but really supportive at the same time. They’ve been great for my “is she knocked up? Or has she just eaten too many burgers” first trimester tummy haha!

4. Kmart high neck maxi dress $22

You had me at “elastic waistband” oh Kmart dress. This dress is the perfect throw-on for summer, and I can just pull it up over bump as it grows! The beauty of an elastic waist band, is that no matter your body shape, the dress fits to you! Allow the dress to blouse and over the waistband a little for some extra tummy camouflage too.

5. Augustine Marlow Kimono $179.00

A kimono is just such a great piece to throw on over almost anything and add a little something extra to your outfit! I’ll be rocking this style (and my seven others) over body con dresses through summer as the bump grows, but they look just as cool over a tee and jeans, or shorts!

6. Cait & Co bamboo Miracle Dress $85

I know I keep plugin’ this dress but if I wouldn’t if I didn’t think it lives up to its name! This version has a high/low hem (really flattering on your legs) and pockets!!! The one size, drape style is perfect for skimming over little bits (and little bumps) and is ridiculously comfortable to wear with flats during the day, then frock it up with ankle boots or heels at night! It also comes in hot pink and chartruese btw 😉

So there are just a few of the things that I’m sporting as wee bebe 2.0 grows. But there is no reason why you can’t rock any of these styles even if you aren’t expecting!

I’m so excited for summer to hit, there are so many bright colours and pretty shapes coming out for us all to play with. I’m going to make an effort to have more fun with MY style this summer, how about you – you in?

Until Next Time, In Love & Style Always,
