When I saw this dress, I HAD to have it for the Cait & Co store. I could just see it filling a space in so many of my styling clients wardrobes, and boy has it done its job already!
I wanted to show you guys how easy it is to wear, and how versatile it could be, so I thought it was the perfect candidate for my long-running series, 1 item, 3 ways. So here it is. 3 ways.
Weekend Chic

I guess this is the way that most people would think to wear this dress. Throw it on with a casual jacket to give you some shape through the sides if you want it, add some white trainers and a pop of colour with a necklace or scarf and you’re good to go!
If you’re a little chilly, you could add a knee-high tan flat boot and layer up with merino underneath for the Winter version of weekend casual
The Oversized Top

Yes you are seeing that right, you can wear it as a top or tunic!
I’ve basically tucked the dress (about half way down) into the top of my pants. It creates a blousing effect and pulls the dress up. It hides the tummy, creates a flattering ‘high/low” hem effect and lets you add the option of pants! How great does this make this dress for travelling!
BELTED AND BOLD

This dress definitely works belted too! So if you want that extra waist definition, wrap your favourite belt around! I’ve bloused it up over the belt to hide it, but you could have your belt on display (I’m also 5ft 10 so its look kinda short, but add some thick tights and you’re all good baby!)
I’ve also added black tights and boots to show you that you can layer it up warm for winter. Once again, you could always layer it up with merino underneath to keep extra-toasty.
This dress really is the miracle dress right? Like I mentioned, it will fit and flatter almost any shape and size and there are SO many ways to wear it! It’s a one-size so you don’t have to worry about getting the wrong size when you order online too!

Is there a body shape that this dress wouldn’t suit? I love this dress, but I am a size 14-16 with a big bust and big hips and I am worried that it would make me look like a brick. But it would be fabulous as my weight fluctuates a bit.
Hey Pip, nope, no shape it doesn’t suit! I put it on my girlfriend the other day who sounds like exactly the same shape and she looked amazing!
Also Brooke, the tall blonde in the shop pictures is a 16/18 with boobs and a bum and she rocks it!

Does it have pockets??? It really would be my dream dress if it had pockets as well!!
haha thats the ONE thing its missing (but to be fair, pockets might kill the shape of it a little, so I’ll forgive it for not having pockets 😉 )
