Yay it’s summer. Yay it’s dress season!
Well for me, every season is dress season, but I know for a bunch of people, the warmer weather is the perfect motivation to pull out their frocks.

And while I’m all about investing in a beautiful designer dress that will last for decades (I have quite a few in my wardrobe), I’m also all for finding something that is affordable for everyone, and easy to throw on.

With the likes of Kmart and The Warehouse really lifting their game when it comes to women’s fashion, there competition is heating up for fabulous dresses at a wallet-friendly price point.

And don’t scoff at the quality, some of these are linen blends or gorgeous soft cottons. Cheap doesn’t mean nasty.

So I’ve put together list of some of my favourites that won’t see you back more than what we call “a pineapple” in Aussie (the Aus $50 is yellow = pineapple).
