Y’all know by now that I’m all about making everyday easier right? Fashion and style is my main game (it is my job after all), but I’m also all about finding great beauty buys.
And the number one thing I’m looking for in a beauty product is something that will make my everyday beauty routine fun, easy and also did I mention easy?

I am by no means a beauty expert, so I love sharing with you things that I find that can be easily added into my everyday beauty routine. I’m the novice in this space too, so let’s go on this journey together!

So when the lovely team at adorebeauty.co.nz, a great online beauty store based in Australia, recently asked me to pick a few products from their new New Zealand site, how could I say no.

The Beauty Chef Collagen Inner Beauty Boost $46.20

We all know the old saying, “beauty starts on the inside”… we this product relies on that!

I bought this as part of “The Glow Kit” (which is currently sold out) and now I’m well and truely on the collagen train!

Ingesting collagen is reported to help increase the skin’s production of collage, giving your complexion a boost from the inside out.

Oh and it tastes just like raspberry cordial! Win!

Face Halo Pro – makeup removers (3 pk) $33

Remove my makeup with only water? Sign me up!

The idea behind these little reusable make-up pads is that you day bye-bye to traditional makeup remover and throw-away wipes and replace them with these.

You just soak in warm or cold water, and start wiping!

Benefit Cosmetics Hello Happy Flawless Brightening Foundation $56

It had me at “happy”, but the words “brightening” and “flawless” also helped.

I’d always read good things about this medium-cover foundation and am always on the lookout for new ones to try, so I’m giving this a go.

So far, so good. It’s light, easy-to-apply (I use a kabuki brush) and lasts throughout the day. What more can you want really?

Salt by Hendrix rose quartz face roller $38.45

I had seen these before and was sceptical. Then I had a beauty therapist use one in a facial once and it was DIVINE! Where do I sign?!

The idea is that you use it to apply a serum or oil to you face, and the rolling motion (upwards to help with fine lines and wrinkles) helps to combat puffiness by stimulating the lymphatic system.

Virtue lifting powder $56

Full disclosure, I would not have paid this price for a volumising powder before I used it, but I will definitely be re-stocking this going forward!

I LOVE a bit of added fullness in my hair, and that is exactly what this powder delivers.

Basically, you spray onto dry, styled hair and it acts like a resin, it grips on itself, and the hair, giving your locks heaps more volume.

This stuff is the bomb, even the fact that its a powder pump bottle, makes it so easy to use and you don’t waste any product because you can aim it exactly where you want.

So there you have it, I wanted to show you guys some products that were a little out of the ordinary, maybe ones you (and I) hadn’t considered before.
