Now even if you aren’t breastfeeding, there is definitely still something in this post for you!

One of the things I tried to do my whole pregnancy, and now feeding, is to keep wearing things that aren’t always specifically designed for pregnancy or feeding. So I’ve tried to keep that up in this post too!

I don’t think I really realised how restricted my wardrobe would be while breastfeeding, one of the many things I guess you don’t know until you’re there right?

I had a rude shock early on when I thought I’d timed Emmie’s feeds well enough to escape the house in a full maxi dress, with NO easy boob-access, and of course, Murphy’s Law, she packed it in the middle of the mall and the only thing that would sooth here was food…..

picture me, sitting in the mother’s room at the mall with my WHOLE maxi dress hiked up over one boob to try and feed my poor child! Funny now, but not so much at the time!

SO! In light of that little adventure, here are 8 fabulous finds under $100* that are breastfeeding friendly, should you need that too….{ok, so two of them are just over $100, but they were too good not to include!}

I’ve definitely been experimenting with a few of these styles – the off-the-shoulder requires a strapless bra (which I just pulled down to feed) and the jumpsuit jusst opens up like a wrap (it’s hard to see in the pic). The Just Jeans dress un-ties at the shoulder for easy access too!

I’ve also been making use of the Kmart feeding singlets – I pretty much wear them under everything, so if I do need to open up the top I’m wearing a little more, at least my tummy is still covered.

The singlet is awesome for wearing under non-feeding-friendly tops too – you can just pull the top up, and again, tummy is covered  – sorry no link! No online shop for Kmart (yet!) but head into your local and they are pretty easy to find.

All you amazing breast-feeding mammas out there, any more tips? Any great finds? Share with the rest of us! We’d love to know!
