I don’t know about you, but I find each different season brings different needs to my hair and skin. Also have just jumped on a plane across the ditch to warm and humid Queensland, straight away my hair and skin reacted! (that was nice of them wasn’t it!)
it’s also nice to give your hair and skin (and beauty bag) and bit of a pep up for the new season – revitalize them and you’ll feel like you’ve been on holiday! (or at least to the day spa….)
Anyway, this week I’m sharing what’s in my beauty bag for Spring (plus a bonus giveaway at the end!)
1. Viva La Juicy eau de parfum (from $82.25) – now I’m going to be honest about this fragrance, I HATE the packaging…. I was given a sample in a gift bag a little while back, and fell in LOVE with the scent. It combines delicious wild berries, with creamy vanilla and bright jasmine. That’ll do it – vanilla is always a fave in Spring time for me.
2. Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Ageing Créme  – so this is my new best friend (now that I’ve discovered that I can stay young forever). Touted as the moisturiser that intuitively knows what your skin needs, this moisturiser helps combat and address multiple anti-ageing concerns. Sounds like EXACTLY what I need haha. (Read more about what I thought about this product HERE)
3. Cloud 9 wand AU$299 – THIS is the piece of magic that has changed my hair. You know that curl I get in quite a few of my #everydaystyle pics and outfit posts (like this one) well they aren’t real. THIS little beauty gave them to me. Big hollywood curls are perfect for Spring – long or short hair will work too, great for adding texture and volume. Learn how to get these curls HERE.
4. Butter London “muggins” nail lacquer from $19 – Pastels are HUGE for Spring, and I’ll definitely be adding some pops of lilac to the tips of my fingers. I love Butter London – it’s Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, phthalate and paraben free so good for your nails, as well as your bank balance.
5. Glam Eyes false lashes from Life Pharmacy $12.49 – As far as I’m concerned, great lashes can totally open up your face! In the warmer months, I love going easy on the heavy makeup, and prefer a fresh-faced look and by adding a falsie, you don’t have to reply so much on heavy makeup. These babies are nice and light, not obvious at all – people will not even notice the lashes, rather they’ll ask you if you’ve been on a holiday 😉

I love seeing the buds on plants and flowers blooming and bees buzzing also love new season fashion, longer days and warmer mornings and nights that are cool but not freezing!
yes please would love this what a gorgeous pack! I love the new born lambs running around and the beautiful spring flowers. You definetlly know when spring arrives and i love that. 🙂
I really love the positive nature spring brings about in people – it is really exciting to new plans being made and the “spring” in people’s step! I have heard amazing things about that mascara too – have you tried it? I have a Cloud 9 straightener which I love and am seriously thinking of getting the wand. You make the curls look so easy on your video.
Fantastic prize! I get really excited about spring because it means daylight savings – the world just seems to be better when the days are longer, and I feel like I get more done 🙂
I’m with you on the daylight savings! Growing up in a city that didn’t have it, I think I get more excited than the average bear about those long dusks!
The end of cold nights, the start of blue skies, sun and warmth!
Totally agree Leisha – bring on the sun!
What excites me about spring is the newborn lambs, the sun warming days, and daffodils displays and feeling better that there’s no haze
So lovely! 🙂
What excites me most about spring? …that it means summer is not that far off!
I’m going to show my teenage daughter your post about the Cloud 9 wand – she’s a big fan of Hollywood curls at the moment!
I second that Farlie!
OMG that Cloud 9 changed my life! they are so worth it x
All the gorgeous flowers appearing after a grey winter!
Completely agree Rose – of course you must love flowers with a beautiful name like Rose 😉
What I love most about Spring is the end to a long cold winter in Christchurch – love the longer days, blue skies and warmer weather!
I hear you!! Bring on those longer days and later sunsets 🙂
