Welcome to this weeks Everyday Style challenge round up. For those new to the blog, here is some background on what Everyday Style is and why I love it. But to quickly re-cap, Everyday Style is the brain-child of amazing blogging guru Nikki Parkinson from Styling You. She started Everyday Style so women everywhere could share their everyday looks, whether it’s for work, or play, or staying at home, or meetings, or party!

It’s about admiring the style of other women, and sharing looks that you have out together no matter you lifestyle or budget (I may have even bought a couple of things based on other’s Everyday Style pics!). Want to play along? Click here to find out how.

So every Saturday I’m sharing some of my Everyday Style posts from the week – I’d love to see yours too and feature them on the blog so please send them to me, or tag me in yours posts on social media too so I can see them!

I’ve also started explaining my thinking behind each outfit, so you guys can see that I go through EXACTLY the same thought processes as you in the mornings! Sometimes I think I nail it first go, other times it take a few tries and I want you guys to see that too!

Everyday Style shots1.jpgI’m wearing:

1. Glassons denim top, Cotton On skirt and Converse trainers

A day of errands and then working from home required something practical and comfy. This outfit is actually inspired by one of my clients (I’m talking about you Sara!). She bought this top after seeing it on me one day, then wore it on our next meeting with a striped skirt – I LOVED it and totally stole her look.

2. Temt top, Charlie Brown Pants and Country Road wedges

I had a really important meeting with a brand I’m doing some work with, so I had to look like I had some fashion cred. I also just got these pants and really wanted to wear them! I struggled with what shoes to wear for a while, until I remembered that I had these! The shoes ALWAYS finish off the outfit don’t you think?

3. The Warehouse knit top, Glassons skirt, Country Road boots and Madewell leather tote

Autumn hit over the weekend here in Auckland and so Tuesday didn’t feel like a summer/jandal/singlet kind of day. I had a media event, but it was pretty casual, a drop in to see a range, so again, wanted to look a little bit fashion-y but still myself. This was an outfit I’d never put together before, but the blue in the knit matches the blue in the skirt perfectly so I thought I’d give it a go!

4. Cooper by Trelise Cooper dress, Number One Shoes wedges and trusty Madewell bag

Meeting some girls I work with for a lunch meeting and they are BOTH super-stylish and stunning so I always feel extra pressure to look nice when meeting them! It was warm again today so I wanted to wear something summery. I love this dress and always feel really comfortable in it. The wedges just help dress it up a little rather than flats.

5. Portmans knit top, Jeanswest jeans and Nat-Sui shoes

It was the coolest day of the year so far last Sunday so it was jeans on in the morning! I LOVE this knit and can’t wait to flog it this winter, so as soon as the chill set in, I put it on (I get really excited about new season clothes and tend to try and wear them when the weather still hasn’t caught up haha!) I wanted to inject some fun and colour into this outfit (I was meeting a friend for coffee) so I added the purple muppet sandals, rather than just a neutral sandal, or a plain jandal.

So there’s the wrap up of MY everyday style for the week, how did you go? Don’t forget to share your looks on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram too, anyone can play along!

Until next time,
In Style & Love Always
Cait xoxo
