Hey everyone! Firstly, I must apologise for my lack of blog posts this week! It’s been a BIG one! Not only did The Boy and I host our engagement party, complete with Aussie family and friends visiting, I’m now sitting in my old bedroom at my parents house in Brisbane, after jumping on a plane early Friday morning all set to start work over here for three weeks with The Myer Centre! (More on that in a later post). Phew!

SO! Let’s kick off today with the weekly wrap up of Styling You‘s #everydaystyle challenge. Here are some of my looks, PLUS some of my awesome friends and readers who are playing along at home too!

I’m wearing…..

Left: Sacha Drake “Baxter” dress – still one of my all time favourite dresses, and Target wedges. Both these items are over 5 years old and I still love them as much as the day I bought them – THIS is shopping your own wardrobe!

Top right: Glassons peplum top from last winter, Portmans denim pants (still in stores!) and Rubi Shoes neon ballet flats (they cost TWO DOLLARS!). Necklace is from eBay and bag is Madewell from Shopbop.com.

Bottom right: Off to Brisbane on Friday, so comfort was the main requirement. I’m wearing Glassons chambray shirt, Forever New ponte pants (read all about why you need some here), Toms shoes and scarf was a gift from my girlfriend Kaylie (LOVE the colour!)

Melissa and I follow each other on Instagram and Facebook after being e-introduced by one of our favourite shop assistants at Witchery (clearly we are both there too much haha). Melissa was also kind enough to unload a HEAP of amazing wedding magazines onto me, I’m still going through them and I LOVE it!

I love that others I know are getting involved in #everydaystyle. It’s about showing your style personality to the world and having fun with fashion! Getting dressed in the morning should be fun and make you happy, and sharing #everydaystyle shows you how easy it CAN be to look and feel amazing, no matter your shape, size, job, and budget!
