Some people rock the animal print.

Sonia from Sonia Styling, EJ from Sisterhood of Style, and my friend Sara. They all love it, and look fabulous every time they wear it.

For me? It’s not exactly the first print I’m drawn to.  I think it’s mostly to do with the warm tones in a traditional animal print (I’m a cool tone girl through and through).

BUT I have found myself getting into some other versions of the animal print. So if traditional animal print isn’t your thing (or even if it is), here are a few of my tips for rocking out the animal print a little bit differently….

1. Go for muted tones

Grey on white (or white on grey) is a soft, subtle way to work some animal print into your wardrobe. It looks great with denim, or just plain white to keep it fresh.

2. Print clash it

I love clashing any print with stripes, and animal print is no different. But I’ve gone with softer colours to compliment the navy and white stripes so it doesn’t feel as busy.

3. Go bright and bold

You never know how something is going to look until you at least try! Animal print can be a tricky print, but I hope this gives you some new ideas to try in your everyday style!
