So exciting! I LOVE finding new labels made here in NZ (and those awesome Aussie ones too) and this label is no exception (well except it’s made by a Pom, living in NZ – but we’ll claim her right!?)
A few weeks ago I was down in Tauranga visiting some personal styling clients and I met up with the delightful Natasha, the design genius behind this gorgeous new label, Beau.
Natasha launched the Beau collection as a ready-to-wear range in the UK after her graduate collection was selected for the London Fashion Week Graduate Show. From there a little boutique requested to exhibit the collection in their shop window in the UK.
Whist she loves couture work, she recognised it is not something you can wear everyday. So she launched the ready-to-wear line, taking inspiration from the beautiful fabrics and garment embellishment, to sell through boutiques.
Since moving to NZ, she re-launched the label Beau. Within just two years she already sells in 10 boutiques nationally and online.
The Beau Woman finds confidence in herself, dressing to feel good and empowered by her choices. Beau garments are timeless and her customer knows what ever their age or body shape they will be able to make Beau garments suit their own with style. Right up my alley don’t you think?
Here are a few of the gorgeous pieces from the Winter 2014 collection (can you tell I love this print??) it’s currently all ON SALE HERE!
The Dart Tunic (belted and un-belted) on sale for $195 (I”m wearing the M and I’m a size 12)
The Dart top $179 and Skylar trousers $225 worn as a jumpsuit. (I’m wearing a M in both top and trousers)
Her Winter collection ranges from $170 – $359 and is on sale right now! View the whole range here.
It’s all designed right in the Beau studio in Tauranga and manufactured in Auckland – how amazing is that! Love NZ made. And just between you and me, the Summer range is GORGEOUS! I’m saving my pennies for it as we speak.
Beau is available online and in selected stockists around NZ – for more info, visit her website HERE or follow Beau on Facebook HERE.
I hope you get as much of a kick at discovering new labels as I do! Have you found any hot little home-town labels? I’d love to hear, tell me in the comments below
Until Next Time
In Style & Love Always
