OK, here is my final New Zealand Fashion Week post – I promise we will return to normal scheduled programming as of next week! So I thought I’d just show you a couple of things that made fashion week what is was for me – some cool street style, a couple of behind the scenes snaps and some good old Instagram pics!

Fashion Week Street Style

Couldn’t help but snap a few people around the traps at Fashion Week. Here’s a few of the cool outfits that were out and about!

Behind the Scenes – Trelise Cooper

One of the best things about working for a label is the buzz of being backstage during a show! I always think of a swan, looking all graceful on top of the water, and paddling like mad underneath to keep a-float. Well that is EXACTLY what a fashion parade is like.

Back stage is frantic with models changing into up to 10 different outfits, and in between that, there is often hair changes, makeup re-touches and there is ALWAYS a model whose shoes don’t fit her and you need to find new ones in 2.5 seconds! But the adrenaline buzz you get from being back stage is amazing, and totally worth it! Here are a few shots of the behind the scenes from last nights TC show……
