Short and sweet (explains both this post, and apparently my attention span for 7-day challenges). Yesterday and today were both sight-seeing adventures around Auckland city and beyond with the family so to be fair, shoe choices (and time to right blog posts about said shoe choices) were limited… but I gave it a go!
Day 5.
A trip to the north-west and the black beaches of Piha – I wasn’t really cheating wearing different Converse shoes was I? Well if I was, I saved the day by changing my shoes to head to dinner and a visit to the in-laws.
This second pair of shoes was a result of my shoe-shopping expedition with mum on Thursday night. Because clearly I don’t have enough pairs of loafers (read the original post here) I needed to secure another pair…. but they are different from the three I already have ok Mum?!
Day 6.
So I have to come clean here. These boots are the very reason I decided to start this seven day challenge. They are the most comfortable, practical, but classic boots that I own. They work over pants or jeans, they work with tights and a frock and most importantly, they are comfortable enough to walk to and from the bus in everyday.
These boot have become my everyday shoes. I would wear them at least 4 days in the week because they were the easiest thing to wear! They are from JAG about 4 years ago and they have lasted amazingly well.
With one more day to go, and the rain predicted to start falling, I think I can come up with a solution for tomorrow’s shoe…. and they are NOT what you would expect at all! Watch this space to see if I pull out all the stops tomorrow.
