Ahhhhhh the age-old question. How much do I spend on (insert desired item here). Well my answer to that is how long is a piece of string really…..
But, as you know, I’m all about giving your options, so today I wanted to have a look at what kind of different price points you can get one of my Autumn Wardrobe staples – The leather jacket.
In my 1-on-1 styling sessions with clients, one of the first things we talk about is a realistic budget. I’m super-aware that people don’t always have a lot of their hard-earned money to spend clothes on and I always focus on getting clients what they want, for the budget they’ve set.
So with that thought in mind, I wanted to give you guys a few different price points on an item that I think everyone should have in their wardrobe, let’s look at how to SPEND or how to SAVE on your leather jacket this Autumn.
SPEND
This is the kind of thing you can definitely drop of bit of cash, money, money on, BUT I’ve had two of my leather jackets for almost 10 years now and they are still going strong. Buy good quality, in a classic style (like this biker style) and you will have yourself a great investment piece.SHOP THE GORGEOUSNESS: Witchery leather biker jacket $699 | Cooper by Trelise Cooper “Crop, Drop & Roll” leather jacket $699 | Moochi “Triumph” leather jacket $899.99
SAVE
So when we say “leather” jacket, the reality is, anything under about $300 is not going to be real leather, but you’ll still get the same look and effect. Here are three I think are awesome right now!
SHOP THE SAVINGS: Atmos+Here PU biker jacket from The Iconic $99.95 | Max zip front biker jacket $139.99 | EziBuy Emerge biker jacket (100% suede leather) $179.99.
There really are so many great choices out there, no matter what your budget. Stay tuned next week and I’ll show you three different ways to WEAR your new leather jacket – it really is a great staple to add to your Autumn/Winter wardrobe.

I’m on the hunt for a leather jacket this season! Great choices. Bron x
oh yay! perfect timing then 😉
I am a bit fickle with jackets (one minute I love them, one minute not so much – lucky I live in Qld hey?) – however I agree a great leather jacket is so worth the investment. In saying that I found a fabulous a suede looking jacket at Cotton On on the weekend for $80. It is so soft and gorgeous and most importantly fits perfectly!!
haha I didn’t even own one until I moved to Sydney! (comes in real handy now though). Oh snap for CottonOn! They did an awesome biker last season too!
Don’t forget second hand stores though! You can definitely get a decent, long lasting leather jacket second hand for under $300, right?
very true! but much harder to find your size 😉
