Did you even think that we choose our lipstick colour based on where we live? Nuh! Me either, but a new report commissioned by Heathrow Airport (apparently it’s not just an airport, but a beauty mecca) says that we do!

Lipstick has such an amazing power to uplift. For something so small, it can dramatically change our appearance and change the way we feel about ourselves (for the better!). So what colours are we all wearing?

If you’re a New Yorker, it’s Bright Red, Sydney – you’re rocking a Coffee Nude, Dubai? It’s Rose Pink all the way for you my loves.

But what about us here in NZ? Well Auckland made the list apparently we’re rocking Deep Red (so we’re practically New York! woot woot!).

So I’ve found some of the best deep red colours to help Auckland (and NZ) represent in the world-wide lipstick stakes!
