So with great delight, it was time to try on!! (I didn’t want to push The Boy by asking him to take a pic of me trying on diamond rings… so sorry – no picks of that!) but when I was handed a 1 caret, solitaire, brilliant cut ring set in platinum my heart may have skipped a beat… it was beautiful!

You really could see the sparkle! (and yes I know, jewellers have their lighting set to create maximum sparkle, but we compared it to other similar diamonds and you really could see the difference!!).
