Flat shoes are life right? Especially if I’ve got a 10 month old on my hip, and trying to negotiate stairs with the 2 year old.

But what are our options, besides the old ballet flats (which, let’s be honest, usually don’t offer much support!). I want a shoe that I can slip on and run around in all day.

That might be to meetings with brands or clients, but it might be to the girls’ playgroup or daycare drop off.

I want shoes that can cover all bases, and not hurt my feet by the end of the day.

So thank goodness that Ziera are designing shoes with exactly this type of lifestyle in mind! Introducing the “Talise” flat in black suede, my new everyday shoe.

Ziera Shoes “Talise” flat in black suede $239.95 {kindly gited}

Not only are they easy to slip on, they come with Ziera’s custom Comfort Plus Footbed (to really support your feet when you’re on them all day) plus removable and interchangeable forepart inserts that you can slip in and out to adjust the fit of the shoe.

And to show you just how versatile these shoes are, I’ve styled them into a work look and a play look (although for most of us, both looks could probably cover both situations).

ChasingCait x Ziera Talise flat shoes
STYLE THEM FOR PLAY: Moolk shirt $39 | Jeanswest jeans (old season) but similar here $89.99 | Madewell tote bag from Shopbop $250 | Ziera Shoes “Talise” flat in black suede $239.95

EXPERT STYLE TIP: if you’re wearing flat shoes with your jeans and it feels a bit frumpy, try rolling or cuffing your jeans up just a little to expose your ankle – yes, even if you are shorter!

STYLE THEM FOR WORK: Kmart sheer blouse, similar here $14 | Zara wide leg culottes, similar here $45.90| Ziera Shoes “Talise” flat in black suede $239.95 | Saben “Marley” bag, old season.

EXPERT STYLING TIP: If you find wearing black shoes quite “heavy-looking” (I do), then make sure you anchor them with some black either on top, or as an accessory (bag) to balance out the dark shoes.

Fun, fashionable and most importantly, comfortable! What more could you want in an everyday shoe?
