Day one was easy! Day two? Not so easy! I REALLY wanted to wear the same shoes I wore on day one! In fact I almost went on auto-pilot and slipped into my awesome new black suede ankle boots (see here for Day 1) BUT I behaved – I sat on the floor in front of my shoe-robe and actually LOOKED for a different pair of shoes to wear.

Here is what I found……. Teal suede platforms from Rubi Shoes

I promise I DO actually own shoes from other places that Rubi shoes (that is CottonOn’s shoe brand) but they seem to make really cool, on trend shoes that I can trash for a season and only pay $50 for…. I do love me an affordable shoes….

These shoes have little ankles straps (hidden by my ponte pants) So they are really secure on your foot, the platform is quite comfortable – the can definitely be an all-day shoe if need be.

Wearing options:

Winter: These would look super with black opaque tights and a short black dress or skirt in winter – making the shoe the statement piece of the outfit.

Summer: Can you imagine how cute these would look with a little white summer dress? Or use them to colour-block (remember what that is all about? Read the post here) and pair them with a pair of hot pink cotton pants – fun!! (Is it summer yet?!!?!)

But here is how I wore them today…..

It was a little chilly out this morning but I couldn’t resist wearing shoes that aren’t boots!

I’m wearing: Cardigan from Dejcuba, ponte pants from Forever New, necklace from Lovisa and shoes from Rubi Shoes (CottonOn).

So confession time – this is the first time I have worn these shoes…. and I LOVE them! They will certainly be on permanent rotation in my shoe wardrobe going forward! (After my shoe challenge is over of course!)

How did you go on day two? Did you find another pair to wear today?
