So it’s not quite Pantone’s Colour of the Year for 2014 (its Radiant Orchid for those of you wondering) but Magenta would be up there with one of my favourite colours to wear. It’s bold, it works well with not only black and white, but with other bold colours too. It makes tanned skin look even more tanned, and it’s bright without being over the top.

I’ve been looking for a top to wear with these printed pants for a little while now, something in a colour. I had this colour in my mind after seeing on a complete stranger one day (I may or may not have stopped her in the street and asked her where she got it from – Country Road – it was sold out) but now I was on a mission to find a top in that colour! Luckily for me, I found it a couple of days later in Portmans. I think it works alright don’t you think?

This outfit is perfect for me to go and see a client (which is what I was doing today). It’s comfortable and practical, and not too intimidating when going to go through a strangers wardrobe! But I like the bold combination of colours – it feels really fresh and summery!

What do you think? Would you ever wear a bold colour like this? How would you wear it? Tell me in the comments below, I’d love to hear from you!

Love & Style Always,

Cait xoxo
